Phone automatically activates call waiting feature.

I recently bought a Uniden DECT1560 phone. When I'm talking to someone and I receive another call, the call waiting feature automatically kicks in; the original call is hung up on the and other call gets through without me doing anything.

I looked at the phone and the manual and there is no DELETE TRANSFER BUTTON. No chin or hand was holding anything down during the calls.

Toss it in the dumpster No see if there is an auto answer option . Check and see if the (DELETE TRANSFER BUTTON ) is pushed in i just tested the exact phone and it makes it answer right away when the call comes in . See if perhaps your chin or hand is holding this particular button down
Good luck

Digital cordless phones generate magnetic signals that can cause noise on hearing aids equipped with a telecoil ("T" coil) feature. This phone includes a special "T-coil" mode that, when activated, reduces the magnetic noise generated by the handset.

I just bought two DECT1560 and hope I can use them off one phone line. How?

Only the base unit requires the phone line to be plugged in to the phone jack (and hydro). The other phone can be placed aywhere so long as the holder is plugged in to an electric plug. The base unit transmits to the other phone when you pick it up and answer it.

I want to know if 5.8ghz is compatable with dect1560-3 phone

I do not think so. They are incompatible. The dect 1560 phone operates at 1.9Ghz. The frequencies are different. The two phones cannot communicate one with the other. Sorry.

Static on my pair of Uniden cordless phones (Model DECT1560)

Is your base near a computer or other electronics? Also, make sure your microwave is not on. I get static if I do any of those things.
