HTC Touch™ 3G Cell Phone Logo

I use Bluetooth headset with HTC 3G and when a call comes in I leave the phone in my pocket and answer on the headset. Problem is the incoming call activates the screen and I get lots of screen taps and such and can even accidentally hang up on the caller. How can I deactivate the screen? The old HTC Touch had a screen lock "button" so the phone still worked but the screen didn't.

1. Why a new plantronics m100 sometimes (be change to always) disconnects (lost connection) itself while the HTC P3450 phone is kept in my suit pocket? 2. Why the headset emits unclear sound like a buzz...

Starting from the beginning sometimes cures those problems. In the link below for the Plantronics M100 take a look at the "Tips" and "Connect" pages to prepare and pair the headset to your mobile. You want to make sure your phone is empty of any bluetooth devices.

How to make auto answer incoming phone (hand free) with LG HBM 570 bluetooth headset in case driving car

Hi, LG HBM 730 Bluetooth Headset Wireless Headset does have the ability to auto answer a call. But it does that automatically (does not need settings for it).

Also you can set auto answer from your cell phone.I don't know the model of the cell phone you are using at the moment. So you will need to use the manual of the cell phone to know how to auto answer calls.

When you set the cellphones auto answer, then it will auto answer on your LG HBM 730 Bluetooth Headset Wireless Headset..

Have a nice day

Can't pair to iphone 3g

Hi, the iPhone 3G definitely does work with bluetooth. In fact, I'm talking on a bluetooth headset with my iPhone 3G right now.

You have to put both your Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headsetand the iPhone in "pairing mode".

On your iPhone, click the Menu button, tap the Settings icon, tap the General icon, and then tap the Bluetooth icon. Make sure that 'Bluetooth' is set to "ON" and not "OFF". As long as you have this screen up, your iPhone is in pairing mode.

Turn your Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset off and wait a few seconds. On your Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset, press and hold and Answer/End button for Five Seconds, until a solid blue light comes on, which places the device in Bluetooth discoverable mode.

Now that both devices are 'discoverable', the Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset will show up on that Bluetooth screen on your iPhone. Be patient as it might take a minute to appear. Tap on the Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headsetin the list on your iPhone, and then it will ask you for a passkey. The passkey is "0000" (without the quotes). After you enter the passkey, the Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset will show up on the list with the word "Paired" next to it.

Now you're paired! Incoming calls will automatically be passed to your headset as long as your iPhone can find it nearby.

Good luck.

Can't hear anything in my bluetooth headset, mic is working

Hi--First, make sure your "mute" function is off.  Try holding both volume buttons at the same time for a second or two.  If that doesn't help, while you're having a conversation, either with or without bluetooth, make sure your phone's volume is turned up.  On a lot of phones the volume button will control both ringer and conversation volumes, but turning it up without the phone in use only affects the ringer volume.  My husband thought there was something wrong with his bluetooth until we noticed his phone volume was set too low--not as noticeable on handset, but bluetooth apparently needs volume up pretty high!
