Have you got the auto ariel lead from the head unit connected to the remote connection on your amp?
if not then that is your problem, it turns the power on when you turn on the unit. and turns it off when you switch unit off.

hope this helps

2500 power acoustic amp green light no sound to subs

There could be a few potential reasons why you are not getting any sound from your subs even though the green light on your Power Acoustic amp is on. Here are a few things you can check:
  1. Check your wiring: Make sure that all of your wiring connections are secure and that there are no loose or frayed wires. Check that you have connected the amp to the correct terminals on the subs and that the speaker wires are properly connected to the amp.
  2. Check your settings: Check the gain and crossover settings on the amp to make sure they are properly set. Ensure that the crossover is set to the correct frequency for your subs and that the gain is not turned down too low.
  3. Check your power source: Check your battery and alternator to make sure they are providing enough power to the amp. If they are not, you may need to upgrade your electrical system or add a capacitor to your system.
  4. Check for a blown fuse: Check the fuse on the amp to make sure it has not blown. If it has, replace it with a fuse of the same amperage.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to take your amp to a professional for repair or replacement.

There's a flashing green and red light when my car is on and the sub attached to the amp is making a heartbeat like noise when the light goes green and then the light goes red right away. everything is...

Check the wires for short circuiting at the car body or speaker wires. Triple check really everything.
Make sure the connectors are 100% connected to the wires. There maybe some resitance if the amp isn't getting enough power from the battery.

Amp has power but sub doesnt work

You say the amp has power so you mean the green l.e.d. comes on correct? If so and you don't get any juice to your sub, check your RCAs make sure they're hooked up correctly. If they are check the wires to your sub, make sure they're making good contact, if its a binding post connection to the sub it can look connected but not be i've had it happen to me before. If the l.e.d. is red, you either blew a fuse on your amp, or your sub is blown, but if you get a green l.e.d. on the amp don't worry about those. If everything checks out and you still don't get power, take your setup to a professional and have him personally look it over for you....... hope you get your bass bangin!!!

Amp not working

1. Did you witness this amp ever working if not then you may have a blown amp. Hook up the speakers, get a portable player with a head phone jack get one of those cables with a headphone plug on one end and RCA's on the other plug the portable player into the amp and hit play. If sound comes out then your problems are elsewhere. If not I'm afraid your amp is probably toast. If the OHM rating of the speakers are too low for the amp then the amp will go into protect. This will be indicated by the protect LED lighting up or the power led changing color from say green to red.
