How do i use my phone as a modem

NOTE : There may be a charge to use your handset as a modem for your home PC

There are a number of ways to do this but to start off with you need to make sure that the handset itself can actually access the internet
Settings can be obtained from your network.
Once you have checked the settings with your network provider then the most simple way to connect is by USB. firstly we need to check that your phone is correctly setup

1. Go to the main menu
2. Select Settings
3. Press joystick left so that you get to the connectivity menu
4. Select USB
5. Select USB Internet
6. Select Turn on then OK
7. Select USB data accounts
8. In your list of accounts select the one that your network provider setup with you ( If it was already setup select the account that has interent after it , you may have a picture message or mms option do not select these it will not work )
9. Now return to your standby screen

That is your phone now setup.
Using the USB cable and sony erricson PC suite software included firstly install the software then connect the USB cable to PC and phone.
After a few seconds your phone will provide you with a list of options select phone mode. after a while you will see the globe symbol on your phone and your PC will show it is connected to the interenet . Happy browsing .
