I have had this router

Unplug the router. Plug your computer network cable (if you can and have it) directly into the modem, bypassing the router. If directly connected modem gives no Internet connection - call your ISP tech support. If the Internet connection is provided by the modem directly - shut down the router for at least one minute, while shut off, plug the cables from modem back into it, restart router, give it some time to launch services (appr.2-4 min), then check Internet connection on the devices. If still no joy - 1. Connect your computer to the router (LAN port) using an Ethernet cable. Make sure your IP address on the computer is 192.168.0.### (where ### is between 2 and 254). Please see the Networking Basics section for more information. If you need to change the settings, write down your existing settings before making any changes. In most cases, your computer should be set to receive an IP address automatically in which case you will not have to do anything to your computer. 2. Open a web browser and enter http://192.168.0.1 and press Enter. When the login window appears, login using your router authentication credentials (see it on the back, if you never changed it). Check internet, LAN and wireless settings (on/off? Firmware updates?). Check: http://www.dlink.com/-/media/Consumer_Products/GO/GO%20RT%20N150/Manual/DEU_Manual_RevB.pdf

MY DLINK 2730B WILL NOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET i

First try replacing the LAN cable between the modem and router. Hard reboot bother devices (off 10 sec then back on). Connect to the modem with a LAN cable to make certain it is working correctly. The final solution is a factory reset of your router. You can do a factory reset by logging into the router using you browser. Go to the settings and perform a factory reset If you forgot the router password, you ill have to do a factory reset by locating a small hold on the back of the router and insert the tip of of paper clip for about 10 seconds while the power is on. The router will be reset to out of box status and then you can set-up form scratch.

My d link router green lights are flashing contineusly and cant connect with my device.cant connect with my mobile or my computer

Ok, there might be one possibility. Someone might have hacked your router and banned your devices from connecting. Yes, it can be done especially if you are using WEP to connnect to router. Hardwire to your router using a cable and log in. See what other devices are connected, you also might want to change the wireless SSID name and password, however, do not use WEP, change it to WPS-PSK which is a lot harder to hack.

Router

Use the wizard. There are 2 log in accounts. One for the router admin page. Leave it as is, no real protection when there is a reset in the back. The other is the wireless. The user is referred to as SSID, and the password is known as the KEY.

My d-link router name no

Hi, this seems to be either an issue with your router's hardware or local computer wireless adapter hardware. In order to determine which one is it do the following:

1. Go and check the LEDs on your wireless router to see if there are any blinking or switched off as stated in the official manual documentation for DLink products (can be found here or here more specific).
LEDS are as follows (left to right - per official user manual/doc):
- Power LED = A solid light indicates a proper connection to the power supply. cdekatrr_0.png
- Internet LED = A solid light indicates a proper connection to the Internet port. This LED blinks during data transmission. cdekatrr_1.png
- WLAN LED = A solid light indicates that the wireless segment is ready. The LED blinks during wireless data transmission. cdekatrr_2.png
- Local Network LEDs = A solid light indicates a connection to an Ethernet-enabled computer on ports 1-4. This LED blinks during data transmission. cdekatrr_3.png

2. Check the laptop's or desktop wireless adapter if it is disabled or enabled and if is disabled enable it by going to your computer's Control Panel (either winxp or vista/win7) and go to network connections (in vista/win7 put the control panel in detailed view to see more options) and then right click on your wireless connection and click enable.

3. In a case that also the wireless adapter is enabled but you still cannot see any access points/wireless networks please go to your current wireless connection and right click go "Diagnose", this feature is mainly available in windows 7 or Vista. For windows XP, go to the command prompt by going to Start->Run->type in the box "cmd" without the quotes->Then type in the following set of commands.
ipconfig /release ---> This will refresh your wireless card IP settings/configuration to 0.
and after that command finishes, type in:
ipconfig /renew --> This will get new settings if the wireless card has problems finding an address from your router.

You can always reset your router (unplug from power supply, wait 2minutes then plug it back in)
or:
Reset the wireless adapter (right click from on the wireless adapter shown in the network connections, disable and then re-enable it) or computer.

Thanks please let me know if you need anything else.

Wireless connection

-Try restarting your pc. -If the problem persists then unplug your router for about 15 seconds. -If that doesnt work, then remove the code key that you assigned and see if the pc connects then you've simply entered the wrong code key that you assigned. -If that doesn't then go into your network settings, right click on the network you are trying to connect to and click repair, it will try to diagnose the problem.- It may be that you changed a setting in the router, try setting it to factory default. I hope this helped!

Configuration Lost After Restart

there must be some memory on the board that isn't functioning properly. Try to do a factory defaults and set it up and see if it sticks. If it doesn't then I would suspect bad circuitry or perhaps firmware issue. You can upgrade your firmware may resolve this issue. Here is where you can download your manual and download firmware. Do not update firmware through wireless connection!http://www.dlink.ca/products/?pid=DIR-601&tab=3 To reset the router, locate the reset button (hole) on the rear panel of the unit. With the router powered on, use a paperclip to hold the button down for 10 seconds. Release the button and the router will go through its reboot process. Wait about 30 seconds to access the router. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1. When logging in, the username is admin and leave the password box empty. The updated version of firmware is level 1.02NA You can check which level of firmware you currently have installed and if its a lower number you can try to update it if factory defaults don't do the trick.
