Buy the right size fuse. Too big of a fuse can cause a fire.

the main problem is how stable the foundation is for the laundry center when it goes into its spin cycle.

I can tell you that all whirpool thin twins up to last year were direct drive with no belt except for the dryer section. Whirlpool stackers from the early eighties did have a washer belt if yours is this old replace the entire machine.

Most likely the water pump belt is slipping or the water pump could be locked up.

No parts are replaceable within the pump. Buy a new pump.

Dryers need to be taken apart for cleaning and lubrication when they get noisy. The toughest part is getting the belt off and on. If the machine has a few years on it, a new belt is a good idea while it is apart.

Start with resetting breaker dryer tumbles with 110 but needs 220 to turn on element. If still no heat might have a bad element.

you'll need to by a sink kit at any hardware store and a sump pump , be advise at the place you buy . good luck .let me know take care
