No charge, no power on

Ive just returned from overseas for a year. I went to turn on my Blackberry Bold and it does nothing. I do not get a red charging light while plugged in and has now been plugged in for multiple hours and is still not working. Any suggestions?

I have tried with about 6 different chargers. Took it to an AT&T store because that is my coverage. The guy at the store said he thinks it is a hardware problem because the red light does not come on. Unfortunetly it is not an At&t phone so they cannot fix it. Ive tried redownloading the desktop manager and they does not help either. I don't know what else to do besides finding someone who can fix it. Any further suggestions about a self fixing approach? Also any suggestions of who would be able to fix it? tahnk you

I think your charger may be 110 V , I have faced similar problem while returning to india. Try charger from the place you are at, It may work.

I have a blackberry bold 9000 and it wont turn on, every time i charge it the red LED light comes on for 30-35 seconds then it just start blinking but it never turns on

You might want to clean the contacts on your charger and BB for proper contact during charging.
Afterwards, connect to your charger, if you are charging it on a PC ensure you connect your charger to a USB at the rear of your PC. Your BB will try to power on itself once it has enough power to. Otherwise power it on after about an hour.

Blackberry 9000 won't turn on, no red light, nothing. It has a charged battery

Try a different battery. Try turning it on while plugged in to the computer with the blackberry desktop manager open. See if it connects to the computer if it does then the screen is out a relatively easy fix if not look below.

How old is it? if under a year still under warraty I would get it swapped out if not you can try a place like cell phone repair or CPR

My blackberry bold screen is black with a red light on

no. make sure you have the USB charger driver for your computer. you should be able to download this at blackberry.com for free. your blackberry likely just doesn't realize that it's plugged in and won't charge via USB without that driver.

Blackberry bold suddenly shut down

Lots of battery issues with the Bold. Try taking the battery out, keeping it out and connecting to PC with USB. Do any lights come on? Red light should appear. Put battery in while connected to USB.

Another fix that I found for a friend-leave the battery out of the unit for a day-put it in and plug in power cord or USB. It worked.
