YP-K3 has a blue line running vertically down the screen

My player has had a blue line running down the screen after I transferred songs into it and ended the USB connection. The line hasn't gone away even after I tried resetting the player. The player is only a few days old and I haven't even used it yet!

I bought a new CD and tried putting the songs from the CD on to my MP3 player. I am able to transfer the files onto the device but when I turn on my Samsung YP-K3, the songs are not on there. Why do they...

If you have windows media player then all you need to do is insert your YP-K3 into the computer then windows media player will show you a bunch of options for your MP3 click what ever suites you. Then rip the C.D to the windows media player. Then click and drag the songs if you want all of them click the first one press shift down on your keyboard then stop when you have all the songs you want then click and drag to the right hand side where it has your YP-K3

Where can i downlaod software for a samsung yp-k3 please

You dont need any special software to add files to your player. I will give you two ways to add files to your player:

  • **Drag and Drop**
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder; available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
  • --**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

Transfering music

Download LimeWire or FrostWire (i prefer frost.) and download all the songs you want. Its very simple to use, so dont need to go into detail for that. Than (assuming you have a windows computer) open up 'Windows Media Player' and on the top tabs click 'Sync'.
Dont minimize, but make the FrostWire window small, but where you have all your downloaded music click/drag-able. highlight all songs/media pieces and drag them to the sync playlist on the right side of Windows Media Player. Click Start Sync and wait a bit.
That should solve your problem mredmarin. Let me know if it did!
Have a good day :)

How can i transfer files from pc to yp-k3

If you have Windows Media Player, just plug it in using the proprietary usb cable, and it should show up in Media Player. Click the Sync tab, and simply drag and drop.
