I have just put a new hdd in my laptop and it is saying BOOTMGR is wissing when i turn it on. thanks...

HDD is damage.. however sometime cause by memory failure. try to clean memoryand insert it back. if not hdd is damage. you need software to recover your files.

YOUR HDD IS BAD.IT SEEMS BAD SECTORS.TRY TO REINSTALL THE OS.I RECOMMEND TO BUY A NEW HDD AND INSTALL A NEW OS

that is important file for the boot process and since it's missing you will need to reinstall the operating system.

Use software HDD Regenerator Bootable CD. After you have a CD Bootable HDD Regenerator, insert the CD, then boot from the CD Room. Enter choice = 2 Scan, but do not repair (show bad sectors). For more information, you can see the video

The BOOTMGR is also known as the "Boot Manager." That means that there is something wrong with the hard drive. You would need to copy that BOOTMGR file from the Windows disc that your laptop would've came with. Otherwise, you would need to restore the computer to it's factory settings.

Now, who's the laptop's manufacturer? I suggest you call them and have them assist you restoring your laptop to it's original factory settings, like when you first bought it.

on the laptop then press f2 go to boot option, you can see there the 1st boot device it must be set to hdd drive, the press esc. then select exit then click enter it will boot.

when you reformat the hdd it removes the boot manager reinstall the os for a new bootmgr

There's a possiblity that the problem is with the HDD due to bad sectors, you will need to reimage the HDD or better replaced it just to make sure. By the way, how did you run the recovery disc? You need to boot from the disc itself,try putting in the disc inside the drive then turn off the computer, the turn it back on then keep on tapping F12, some other laptop automatically boot from the disc but others need to choose first the boot sequence, you will see there boot from HDD, ODD, and LAN, you need to choose ODD then press enter, there will be a message saying that you need to press any key immediately, press any key immediately because one you miss that, you will need to start from the scratch again.

you need the Operating System Disc or possibly boot to your recovery partition.. try holding F10 or F11 Upon boot to take you to the recovery screen if it is still there...
