Bud I would suspect you may have melted wires farther up on the ones coming from the switch to to the rear of the car. Should have that checked cause it will be a fire issue. Your motor should have never melted before the fuse blew.
if the fuse pops when turning to crank position the problem lies within the small solenoid wire to the starter (this wire goes from the ign.switch to the starter solenoid and is powered up when in the start position) this wire is shorted to ground....or the starter solenoid is shorted....best way to tell is unhook wire from solenoid and turn key to start...if the fuse does not pop its the solenoid....do this several times to verify
You need to either learn what a short is or forget that

You have two sides of an electrical DC Circuit-Power with the
wires & ground side, which is the entire vehicle,body,metal parts,
motor, trans, etc
Electrons leave the batteries neg post & go thru the fluids &
body before entering a device & returning on the wires to the pos
post
A short is a one time event & burns thru a wire or circuit board
component & then you have an open or blown fuse
So: Power or No power,Grounds are good or also open
If you unplug the injectors & measure their OHMs you should
have all of them the same & they have to be above 18 OHMs
& either terminal to its body or a vehicle ground, for your internal short
If you plug them in one at a time, you will find out which one
blows the fuse, when cranking the motor,just don't hydraulic
the motor with lots of fuel
If it goes beyond that, then yes, you need wiring diagrams
All you can do is, check the harness connectors or broken
wires, etc
You do not want to load the circuits in & out of the computer
DO NOT-- use a probe or any powered tool-- (Test Light)
Only use your volt meter or you will fry the PCM if you get it wrong
1. Is it fully charged
2. Make it go with the romote and move the propelers by your hand (DONT LET GO OF THE ROMOTE) if it moves and tiy bit then stops there is a problem with the motor.
3. Go to the mechanics
i would do a tack together job on it,,
get some thick fuse wire and tiy it round inside the grill holes on the out side edge tiy each one together at about every inch apart around the grill that will hold the two grill's tight, then if you still have the broken plastic bits glue them back on using supper glue its cheeper that trying to get part that you may never find?
