Canon ImageClass D680 "Incorrect Paper Size" error message

"Incorrect Paper Size" error message keeps returning after unplugging. After plugging back in, would get 1st page of fax then "Incorrect Paper Size" error message Cleared incoming fax 'in memory', stil get "Incorrect Paper Size" error message. No A4 or legal paper size print job was sent to printer. Problem started when receiving faxes. D680 thinks incoming faxes are incorrect paper size. How can I make this recurring problem go away? Fiddled with paper cassette side rails. They're in Letter Position. You need a screw driver to change to A4 width.

MF5770 ck paper size- change paper size

Go to the queue of print documents and continue deleting them until you get a message that reads no more in the queue. That will clear the error and then you should be able to resend with the correct paper size.

In our case the correct paper size was selected and received this error.
