My Jeep Liberty CD player will not eject my CDs nor obey any command. Will not play, will not allow more loading. It seems to be stuck with the 4 CD's I loaded a few days earlier and was playing well.
Same problem here. It happened right after replacing the battery. I can hear the cds rotating, but can't even get CD option to pull up.Same problem here. It happened right after replacing the battery. I can hear the cds rotating, but can't even get CD option to pull up.

Sometimes if you shut off the vehicle, then continually press the eject button, while you start it, and continue to press the button, until the radio is on for a minute, it'll work. Other than that, Sorry. Best wishes to you.
I don't have a solution, but the same thing happened to my car. I have a 2007 Honda Accord with a 6 disc cd player and it is reading "Mechanical Error" and it won't work and all my cds are stuck in there.
