My nokia cell phone asked for a security code and i typed in the default 12345 and it worked however every time i put off the phone i have to re enter the security code how do i stop that

you would better go to nokia care or any local cellphone repairer to get it restored .....

Switch off the Nokia 1200 phone. Remove the battery for 30 minutes.Reinsert the battery and switch on the Nokia 1200 phone.Enter the default code 12345 or 00000.Your Nokia 1200 phone will be unlocked.

Type incorrect security code until they ask for master code.
Then enter the master code 7243022001.This will reset your phone's security code to 12345.

I believe the default security code for Nokia products, is one of the following:
- 1234
- 12345
- 0000

if you do not or have not ever put a security code on the phone I would suggest entering the default for Nokia which is 12345 also to get your IMEI # you can enter # 0 6 # to get simlock info enter # 9 2 7 0 2 6 8 9 # to get software version enter # 0 0 0 0 # these codes do work on the nokia 6110 but not sure if they work on other versions of Nokia phones except the security code is always 12345 if it is default and has not been changed of course you have to get past the security code first.

12345 is its default security no. i had the same problem and i tried it. and it worked .. if 12345 doesnot work then u must reinstall the software..

It will solve ur problem.

The default code is 12345. That is if you did not change and forgot it. If forgotten then re-installing the firmware is the only answer. Go to the nearest Nokia Care.

There is a default password for nokia phone try the 1234 or 12345 if this will not work remove the battery then put it back and press the power button again and try to enter the code 1234 or 12345

Go to settings
in that go to security settings
in that go to change access codes
there it will ask for security code
type 12345
after wards it will ask for new security code
type the desired code
and it will ask to repeat the new code
repeat it
and it will be ur new security code
