I have a Frigidaire Drop In Range model number GLED388SB. It has an error code E1. I think it is the circuit board, but not sure. Went to use Self Clean feature and got the error code. Oven now will not work.

I see that both the clock and burners of your Frigidaire range are working but your oven does not bake or broil. May I have your model number please? You can normally locate the serial tag (which provides your model number) in the storage drawer, on the right side. Also, think about what may have happened prior to this occurrence. For instance, did you notice any strange functions or any other error codes prior to this issue? With this information I can better address the issue at hand.
Meanwhile, let's try resetting your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn your range on. I see you are having trouble with the self-cleaning feature on your Frigidaire range and you are receiving error code "PYR". However, it appears "PYR" is an invalid error code. May I have you model number please? Typically you can locate your serial tag on the storage drawer on the right hand side. With this information I can better assist you with pinpointing the issue.
In the meantime, let's attempt resetting your range. You can do this by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position for roughly ten minutes. This usually clears false error codes.If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please inform me of the new error code or if your rangecontinues to display "PYR"? F1 - E1 means: EEPROM Checksum error. The EEPROM is a memory chip located in the ERC (control module). The problem is communication error with the EEPROM
1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds. 2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute. 3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

HI. This is a safety flip flop error code, caused by damaged circuitry within the electronic control board. This will require you to have the control replaced asap. This will correct the issue.
