This is one pricey AC adapter...



Due to the proprietary connector on the TV, you'll probably not find one available from a third party. A search reveals that several sites offer the UADP-0220CEZZ as a compatible power supply for your TV. The supplier of the picture above offers one for $159. Still, others can be found by checking the links returned from Google, shown here. You may have luck by checking on ebay from time to time, too. Finally, Sharp USA offers this part for $167. Copy UADP-0220CEZZ into the "Accessory Model #" box and click "Search". Strangely, placing "LC-20A2U" in the Product Model number box and selecting Power Supplies and cords does not come up with a part.

On the adapter: I've seen them a LOT less expensive just recently. Google it and choose "shopping" to narrow results. There won't be many, but I think you'll find one at better price in just a few minutes. Try ebay as well; that's where I found repair parts for the same model. Good luck!

If it is external, there will be one.
eBay will give you the widest chioce and I found six suppliers on the first page from Google.

Are you looking for power adaptor or just a power cord?

Part number for ac cord : QACCD3097CEPA
Both parts are available from Sharp.

Send it back and get another . It is obviously defective if the other works on your computer. 

power adapter is failing, get a different one and see.
