Remote sensor does not work. Have tried three different remotes
Tv works fine. Just can not get a remote to work. Reset tv to factory settings, removed batteries from remote and pushed all buttons, cleaned front of sensor still cannot get remote to work.

This model set uses 3 different main boards, they all look the same but not interchangable, this sounds like you have the wrong part installed. Match the old board part number to the new one, I think you will find they're different. If they're the same you received a defective board

You have to tell the TV which HDMI input to use. ie you should be able to press a button on your remote to do this. On my tv we can choose between 4 different HDMI inputs via the remote.

try holding remote in front of a video recorder and if you push button on remote and view through video recorder you should be able to see the light blinking coming out of remote - if you see the light coming out of remote and it is still not working then the tvs sensor went bad
besides trying to unplug tv for a few minutes there is no reset for this issue
Tries reset the tv back to factory setting and the cable box too by unplug,replug it back an hour later.Go to tv menu,go to PICTURE,go down to reset,so the Tuner board it reset it back to the factory setting.This should solved ur problems,not than the tv tuner board that recieve the bracasting signal board have probems.
I tried every code suggested for my Viore with Uverse and nothing worked. Finally decided to reset the remote to factory settings using code 900 as described in the instructions from ATT uverse. The remote now works on my Viore tv and all I did was reset the remote to factory settings.
I have been seeing a lot of Toshiba remote "eyes" (the infra-red receiver inside the TV) fail recently. If several known good remotes cannot control the TV then the IR receiver will have to be replaced. If you have no experience soldering and unsoldering PC boards then have a qualified tech handle it for you.
