In my office we have a SHARP AR 5127 copier. i have replaced the cartridge and it's worked one month and after showing the error call for service U2-40. I want best solution. Plz. give me solution.
This means that the cartridge's sensor is miscommunicating with the copier memory thus the code U2 -40. You should clean the inner sensor connector and the toner sensor of the spilled toner by low blower. Perform this code ;# , interrupt , C, Interrupt keys in that order and press 16 then Print key and the code will be cleared.

u2-40 is communication problem in mainboard,try to replace the toner cartridge. or reset by programming. here the programme...on the mechine then # interrupt 0 interrupt. if mechine go sleepmode pls press 14 and start.
