Water is leaking into the inside of the refrigerator into the vegetable pans and under the pans in the bottom of the fridge. Looks like it is coming from a opening at the top of the fridge compartment under the icemaker.

Hi there, have a Hisense fridge model hr6tff526(s) which is leaking water from the inside, looks like its coming from the top where the fan is located.thx

Hi Kassem

It's probably just condensation water like what you get under an air conditioned car in the summer.

Usually in a Fridge they collect the condensed water and run it down a clear hose pipe to a plastic container at the bottom rear of a fridge.
This pipe can become blocked with food & junk & mould, mice etc.
Find one end and clear the obstruction. A flexible rod or wire or air burst.

Could be the little red stopper at the back of the fridge on the inside has come off, and this is where the water is coming from, look inside on the lower shelf and you will see a round opening which should have a red stopper in it.

Model CTX18GAZBRWW - (Hotpoint) no-frost - freezer on top Water collects under the vegetable drawers and must be removed every day.

Something to try....on the back wall of the fridge nearer to the top is a little cup like part sticking out. There is water in it but it usually runs down an attached tube inside back wall and ends up under the fridge and gets evaporated. If that tube or the little cup thing is plugged then it will drip in the fridge and collect on the inside bottom of the fridge. So the trick is to clean them out. Check it out ...may solve the problem.

Why is water is pooling at bottom of the fridge

WATER LEAKING FROM REFRIGERATOR OR INSIDE THE FREEZER OR FRESH FOOD SECTION
You have a blockage in your condensate defrost line or the pipe that fill the tray below the refrigerator is missing the condensate collector pan that uses the heat from the fan to evaporate the condensate back into the air inside your home.

Mine collects water under the crispers also.

Self-defrosting refrigerators dispose of the water generated during the defrost cycle, usually via a tube or channel that directs the water to a pan at the bottom of the refrigerator. From the pan, the water normally evaporates.

If the tube or channel is clogged or obstructed, the water backs up and leaks into the inside of the refrigerator compartment. Then the water builds up at the bottom, inside of the refrigerator. When the water has built up for a time it may spill out of the front of the door opening. To fix this problem, clear the drain tube or channel and allow the defrost water to flow down to the drain pan.

GE refrigerator leaks water under the vegetable and fruit bins

If the refrigerator is of the frost free type, and most all are today, the unit has a defrost cycle where the compressor is shutdown and a heater comes on to melt the ice buildup on the evaporator coil. This water has to go from a drip pan under the evaporator coil down a rubberized or plastic tube to another pan at the bottom of the fridge where it evaporates. Either this hose is blocked or the opening to the hose is blocked. Find the hose (usually on the back of the unit) and run a long wire with a small piece of cloth attached to the end of the wire to get it flowing again. Your water in the veggies comes from the overflow of the upper pan into the inside of the fridge.

The fridge is constantly leaking water from inside. Just above the vegetable drawers there is a hole where the water is constantly leaking from. What could be the problem?

The water is probably from the condensor coils in the freezer when the unit goes through a defrost cycle. The water should go to a drain pan under the refrigerator and then evaporate. Is there something blocking the water from continuing to go to the bottom of the refrigerator?
