Error 1935 Installing TAXCUT 2007, I get error 1935 is there an easy fix?

TaxCut returns can only be opened by the version of TaxCut in which the return was created.

According to this link the problem lies with the .NET framework. Follow the instructions on the page by reinstalling .NET and try again.

Quickbooks requires the Microsoft .Net framework. Error 1935 indicates that this is either not installed, or the wrong version is installed. Take a look at the box to find out which is required (1.0, 2.0, or 3.5) and do a Google search for that (Example: .Net 3.5 Download). When in doubt, install the latest (3.5).

The first step is to make sure ou have all of the latest windows updates. This problem could also possibly cause the windows updates not to install correctly as well, so let me know if you get an error when trying to install the updates. If not, make sure to reboot after the updates are installed then try to re-install the surpac software.

Cause: This is a known error seen during the .NET Framework installation. Refer to the following Microsoft article for more information http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308096
Resolution: Restart the computer then retry the installation. If the problem persists, install an updated version of MSXML.

1. 
   Click My Computer then select C: (the local hard drive)
2. Click Program Files and delete the MSXML 4.0 folder, if it appears.
3. Next click Start, point to Settings then Control Panel and double click Add/Remove Programs.
4. Look for Wintool easy Installer and remove it if it appears.
5. Now, download the latest MSXML to your Desktop from here:
   http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/6/5/9657c01e-107f-409c-baac-7d249561629c/msxml.msi
6. Double-click the downloaded file msxml, to install it.
7. Restart the computer when prompted.

First check the PC Suite is the one recommended for your phone and your PC ie. Windows 2000, XP,Vista etc...
Next uninstall the PC Suite from your PC.

Don't install the PC Suite from your CD it's probably well out of date.

Please make sure you are using the newest version of PC Suite. You will find the latest version at http://www.sonyericsson.com. Choose your region, support and your phone model.
Before installing the newest version please uninstall the current version of PC Suite and restart your computer two times. If you can't remove the PC Suite by SETTINGS > CONTROL PANEL > ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS look at How to manually remove PC Suite
