Whirlpool Ultimate Care II Timer is Off

Last week the timer on my almost 2-year old Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washer was off, didn't realize that is what it could have been until I moved the knob towards the left and it has now been working for a few days. This morning it started the same thing again and I'm needing to see if someone can help me figure out how to get the timer back on track. It will run the water into the drum but it never tries to agitate or anything, you can tell that the motor isn't even trying to do anything. Please help if possible

Yes it is a timer issue, and yes the whole timer will need to be replaced. If you are handy it is not very hard. You can order the timer from marcone.com with your model # and it will show you a parts breakdown so you can see hoe to replace it easier

Whirlpool ultimate care II stops after filling

Hi, could be faulty timer, faulty water level switch, faulty start capacitor for motor, or faulty motor. always put clothes in machine before starting. you can empty machine by lowering drain hose to flow level.

your timer may be going, that setting may be worn out. also a motor coupling may be the culprit

Clothes covered in lint

You need a new timer. Reducing the cycle time will help the lint and not having a timer stuck on wash will help too.
