If you had used calculators before you will be able to regain your former form in a cinch. The major change, from your point of view is the replacement of the EE, or EXP key by one labeled clearly time 10 to the power X.
If you use the MthIO mode your mathematics are even more limpid: You have a template to enter each parameter in its right place, exactly as you would write an expression by hand. With this calculator you can even calculate logarithms in any base. When you press the log key with a small solide rectangle below the level line , the template that displays will be clear to you: You put the base in the small rectangle and the argument in the larger rectangle. If you see that a left parenthesis is displayed you insert a closing right parenthesis where you would enter it if you were doing it by hand.
Trust yourself you will catch pretty soon. Make frequent use of the manual and the appendix.
