Acer AS5536-5526 How do you activate the bluetooth on this laptop?
There is a bluetooth button on top of the keypad, but every time i press it there is the bluetooth sighn and a cross.
Press the "Bluetooth" button found just above the keyboard. The LED above the button should illuminate.
Click "Start," "Control Panel" and "Add a Device." Your Acer scans for other Bluetooth devices in the area.
Click the name of the device in the window that appears, and click "Next" to establish a connection with the external device.

check to make sure the bluetooth device on the laptop is ENABLED
You sign into a service not programs which reside entirely on your computer alone. Whatever macro is being activated by that keyboard button it's either not your bluetooth management program or it is bluetooth and your misinterpreting the information it's asking for.
