The backlight won't turn off.

The backlight on my Blackberry Curve 8330 won't turn off. I tried turning the device off and on again and that didn't work. The settings say it should turn off after 30 seconds. Help!

    That was the first thing I tried. I changed all the backlight settings and put them back to original settings. My battery's dying every few hours.

    Any other ideas?

You need to go into "Options" then "Screen/Keyboard" and change your Backlight Timeout settings.

try turning off your phone and remove the battery and wait for some seconds and put the battery back in, now turn it on and check.
