Hello
There are Horizontal and Vertical size controls behind the back cover that need to be adjusted using a hand held tool. This adjustment requires a trained tech. High Voltage from the set is dangerous.
However, there maybe some limited controls that may help through the on screen menu.
To get into the setup menu, you need the original Remote that came with the TV.
Hold the Menu Key down until a box appears in the corner of the screen, then press 9,8,7,6 Enter. this takes you to the service menu. Just scroll through the items to find Horiz Size and Vert Size.
Good luck
Classic symptoms! Most of the last TV's made by the old, original Zenith company (Rauland division) had bad picture tubes even when new. This probably had something to do with their going out of business and being taken over by a much better Korean company (LG Electronics AKA Goldstar). Another lovely thing they did before biting the big one was to only sell a complete chassis as a repair part. If your TV is older and has a small white paper tag inside somewhere on the picture tube (usually near the larger brand and type number label) with the code "EIA 1101" on it, discard it. I have NEVER seen one of these work correctly! If the CRT is made by someone else, there may be slight hope. Even if the TV is not very old, if it was really made by Zenith, and not LG, the possibility of repair is slim simply because of the change of ownership. I was sad to see Zenith die such a horrible death. They used to be fairly good, but somehow never made the transition to color TV. After 1954 they were essentially moribund.
