How to connect a 1999 zenith TV to a cable box and
Hello,
Connet the output of the cable box to the DVD player and the TV out output of the DVD player to the TV (TV must be tuned to Channel 0, Chanel 3 or 4). You should be able to use the remote to switch between the DVD signal and the cable signal.
Hope it helps.
How can I make the picture size fit the screen? I
The issue your having is aspect ratio. Some programs and commercials are broadcasting in a higher resolution so some fill the screen and some have black bars top and bottom. I suggest searching "aspect ratio for video". It would take me all night to type it out. But you need to know how the different resolutions change the size of your image. Also in the TV's menu you should see an aspect ratio option. Try the different settings to see if you can find the best.

Cord missing
You should be able to use any cord that will fit it.
Bad color .
Turn the set on without an antenna, so there is only snow on the screen. Measure the 3 cathode voltages at the CRT, red green and blue. If the 3 voltages are about the same, around 175 volts, then the CRT is bad (purple picture means bad green gun). If the red and blue are around 175 and the green is over 200 volts, then there is a chassis problem, usually the video output transistor itself has gone bad or come loose.
Zenith 25" Color TV - Model A25A23W
Your problem is a bad connection on the CRT socket on the CRT driver board, a bad connection in the RGB driver supply from the video jungle IC or maybe even an intermittant Picture tube. the only way to tell would be to tap on the crt board while the sets playing with a non conductive insterment, and see if it changes. Now there is alot of HIGH VOLTAGE at this spot, so if you have no TV repoair experience Please stay safe and call in a pro to assist you. Good Luck

My zenith CD/DVD duplicator LCD light on but no ready
If the LCD light on your Zenith CD/DVD duplicator is on but it is not showing as "ready," it is possible that there is an issue with the duplicator's internal components or settings. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
Check the disc trays: Make sure that all of the disc trays are closed properly and that there are no discs stuck inside the duplicator. If a tray is open or a disc is stuck, the duplicator will not be able to operate properly.
Check the power source: Make sure that the duplicator is plugged into a working power source and that the power cable is securely connected to the duplicator. If the power source is not providing enough power, the duplicator may not be able to operate.
Check the settings: Check the duplicator's settings to ensure that it is set up correctly for the type of disc you are trying to duplicate. For example, if you are trying to duplicate a DVD, make sure that the duplicator is set to duplicate DVDs and not CDs.
Reset the duplicator: Try resetting the duplicator by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, then plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes resolve minor issues with the duplicator's internal components.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a more serious issue with the duplicator's hardware or software. In this case, it may be best to contact Zenith customer support or a professional technician for further assistance.
