K3 wont recognize on my os which is xp

i would like to download other songs but i dont know how?and i have to delete all of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

download new wmp :) , worked for me , now it regs it as amass storage device  , easier ti click nd drag files :P

If Windows Media Player doesn't recognize the Sandisk, then you have an incompatible os, a problem with your USB port, or you have not downloaded the installation cd

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard

Reload the original firmware:

I've had this problem. Windows media player doesn't seem to find it, and I couldn't figure out which file I needed from the site. I have xp, but I'm assuming this might also work for vista. Go to Control Panel. Open System. Click the Hardware tab. Click the Device manager button. Find the yellow question mark labled Samsung YP-K3 and doubble click it. This should open a window that will let you (re)install the driver, which it will find for you after having you set up a few simple options. Hope this helps.

Get your friend to download windows media player for you. Usually the computer will recognise the mp3 device automatically but it depends if you have xp sp2 installed. YOu can get hold of it via P2P so you dont need to go through the xp genuine check
