Sounds like the lens you're trying to use is very slow compared to a regular camera lens. You may have to increase the ISO or raise the exposure compensation setting to get lighter pics.

Need to convert a Vivitar 70-150mm telephoto from Canon TX to Nikon FTn mounts

Vivitar made several different 70-150mm lenses. If the lens has a T-mount then you can purchase a Nikon T-mount adapter and replace the Canon one on the lens. If the lens does not have a T-mount then you're out of luck. Nikon cameras have thicker bodies than Canon cameras, and an adapter would have to have negative physical size.

Is there an adapter available to attach my Nikon D40 to my Nikon RA11 spotting scope?

Sorry but your out of luck with that combination. Nikon only made SLR adapters for their Fieldscope line of spotters, none for the Sky and Earth series. The camera adapters are very proprietary so you won't be able to use another manufacturer's SLR adapter to solve this one.

I bought my Eagle Optics Denali spoting scope a few years ago and haven't used it much. I am now retired and would like to start using it. I would like to attach a Nikon SLR camera to the spoting...

Hi David,
Unfortunately, there isn't a good solution for adapting the Denali spotting scope to an SLR camera body. Your best option for tele-photography through that scope would be using a small, point-and-shoot type camera.
If you want more details, don't hesitate to contact me at Eagle Optics. I'd be happy to walk you through the process.

Hi, I am going to purchase a # 8411 Nikon monarch 2.5-10-42 rifle scope. I intend to mount it on a Colt AR 15. They tell me that I can mount this scope on the carry handle. I have always mounted as...

I think you will very unhappy if you mount it on the carry handle. I suggest removing it and getting a Nikon M-223 mount, YOu might also want to check out the M-223 line of scopes. The 3-12x42 with Rapid Action Turret might really surprise you. I don't have one freind who hasn't tried mine out and not bought one. Hard to argue with that. Question about Swarovski Scopes

iv had this problem many times before,,,its more likley to be a bad set of mounts not inline with the barrel,,, if you have ran out of windage adjustment,, to get over it i use a strip of 35mm film inside the scope mount to push the scope over a bit,,, but a new set of mounts would be the best way forwards

Can't zero scope

lifetime warranty on that scope...i say take it back, get another and try again. if you are doing everything right, then i would say it is a internal problem with the scope. nikon's are a really good scope, but rule everything out.
