Ive inserted a vodafone sim card in sciphone, phone sayn insert sim. also why is there 2 sim card slots?

ya they set the default sim as your phone no. so you can goto the nearest vodafone store and get a new sim on the same number and insert the same .because the phone may be locked

How can I use vodafone with other chip apart from vodafone chip

make sure that you have the sim card in the right slot, you have two slots and the one u should be in should not be touching the wall of the phone u should have some space in the back of your sim card

i think the phone use other provider than your sim card if you put orginal sim card from provider in it the sim card wil be acces
unlocking the phone you can acces all providers
you have contact old provider they wil give you unlock codes after one year for free , you have to give them your imei number you see it under battery or by pressing *#06# and also the old phone number they wil also handel it with email

I see that this had been a while. The reason that your Sim cad doesn't work could be various: 1. Make sure that your phone is quad band, if it's a tri band then make sure that ATT works in 1900mhz. If it works only in 850 and your i68+ is a tri band, (which is not suppose to) then it will never work. As far as I know all i68+ original are quad band, some fakes i68+ are sold as quad band but are actually tri-band. 2. If you ATT sim card is a 3g card, it won't work either. These phones are not yet equip to work with 3g. I hope this clear up at least a little of your doubt with the Sciphone.

A) Make sure the SIM card is inserted correctly according to the picture above the slot. There are two slots for two different cards. Either will work. b) Go under settings and Dual Sim card settings and make sure the slot in which your card is inserted is turned on.

may be sim holder slot problem. clean it by thinner. then u can try

i had same problem and have eventually solved it!!! Insert sim card into bottom slot with the gold face up. Make setting on phone got sim card 2 (not 1) You do this under UART setup (that's in the settings menu on the opening screen) and also under the profile menu highlight Only SIM2 open.
This did it for me and now can make calls with "call 2" option.

i have the same problem i keep on putting my sims in (one tesco sim & one voda phone sim) and it said the same thing invalid sim. the sim regestars for about 2 seconds then it either says invalid sim or emergancey calls. whats a matter with it should i send it back.kjr2502
