Remove the oil sending unit and install a oil pressure gauge. You did not specify the motor so you can find it by the oil filter.remove the oil sending unit and install the gauge.Let the motor get to operating temperature and check pressure.Should be @ idle over 5 psi.5 is minimum.@ 3000 rpm should be 45-105.Hope this helps.Good luck.

05 dodge magnum the a/c high pressure gauge dont move and it leaks it out but i cant check the pressure

You need professional a/c manifold to check the system

If you have no knowledge or training on any type a/c system,
then don't work on it,you will ruin it

Have a shop do that

My 2005 dodge Magnum 2.7 liter started knocking as if it had no oil

you are most probably looking at a rebuild. There was a class action suit against Chrysler because of that motor. they made the oil passages in that motor too narrow, and it doesn't take a lot of gunk to block them up and a good section of the motor loses oil pressure. I remember that their policy was to blame the customer if he missed a single service. a lot of those engines failed under warranty.

I have a 2005 dodge magnum, an the iol light started comin on wen i am parked, wats causing that, i already had oil changed.

try replacing the oil sending unit first,
it tells the gauge on your dash how much pressure you have,if your light comes on it means you don't have oil pressure,so change the sending unit to see if this takes care of it,

My lifters are tapping what can i do to solve this problem? My 2005 magnum did run low in oil does this mean my motor is shot

Not necessarily, but you need to check a bunch of things.

Did it run low on oil or out of oil, did the oil pressure go to zero for more than a minute.
Yes - you may have problems
No - you probably did kill things - but watch your cooling level for a while - using water could mean a head gasket leak

Is it really lifters, listen real close and make sure you think that is what it is.

Lifters tap because they loose their oil pressure. I would run it for a while and see if they come back up. Else you need to identify which one and replace it.

This is not an overwelmingly serious problem unless you are reving high. The lifters can be quite loose and not cause any catasrophic problems.

I good grade of low viscosity synthetic oil might also help.
