Samsung DLP turns on and off - cycle repeats

I have a Samsung HL-R5667W DLP. One day while watching the picture went black and the lamp light started blinking. DIdn't replace it right away. Turned the TV back on a month later. It works for about 20 minutes and then no picture. I couldn't turn it off. I had to unplug. I plug back in it comes on and turns off in less than 10 seconds and turns itself back on and repeats the cycle. I've replaced the lamp but nothing.

Make sure put the lamp door back before trying to turn it on because they have switches on them that allow the tv to turn on. If that is ok you probably have a bad ballast.
Call a local tv repair shop to further diagnose the problem.

If you are handy with electronics stuff repair then replace color wheel in light engine of tv to solve its issue.

Samsung HL-r5667w TV shuts down on its own.

You may have a colorwheel going bad. The bearings start going out and this is an indication of the failure. The colorwheel is located in the light engin e therefore you may want to get a qualified tech to look at it

Samsung HLS4266W 43" dlp

Power issues (Tv not turning on) were typically due to faulty ballast. While the TV reports a bad lamp it is the ballast itself causing the issue. Samsung is well aware and will replace both the ballast and the lamp (since the lamp can be prematurely aged but the bad ballast). After replacment most people stop having issues.

Samsung DLP Problems

Possibly thermal sensor, ballast,or the lamp or all of the above,or the main pcb could be the culprit

Samsung DLP HL-P5063W. . .no lamp!

You will need to have it diagnosed if you do not have the service manual, or the knowledge of how these circuits work. I can tell you to replace this or that but it would be a guess! You need to start measuring the voltages on the ballast circuit, as I have seen door switches, fan sensors, heat sensors cause all of your symptoms as well. Good Luck
