Listen for a relay clicking inside. It you hear it but get no power, it is a problem with the relay. If there is no click, it is probably the power supply.
Check on the back of the unit for a switch marked "channel step" or something similar.Usually close to the anntena socket or connection.When you find it switch it to the alternative position.This should solve your problem.

I have traced the fault to the rf amplfier transistor in the tuner "can" It is a 4 pin item with 6JK85 on the encapsulation but have been unable to source a replacement. Can anyone help?
