Hi,

The reason that you cannot play the game is simply because your computer doesn't meet the system requirements.

The problem is that your Intel Celeron 450 is nowhere near fast enough to handle the game.

Now you're probably thinking "He's wrong cause the game says 1.6GHz!!"

This is true, but when they say that they mean a dual core with a clock speed of 1.6GHz. Your processor only has one core, thereby making it a good deal slower than the minimum requirements.

I know it sucks, I was in your shoes till I built my own rig. The one I'm on can eat that game :)

I hope this resolved your issue.

I just got cod waw game but computer doesnt support vertex data am i wasting my time. I have acer L3600

Hello there,
COD WAW has a minimum system requirements of the following:
CPU: AMD 64 3200+/Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz
RAM: 512MB (XP) / 1GB (VISTA)
HDD: 8 Gigabyte
GPU: 256MB Nvidia 6600GT/ATI Radeon 1600XT
One main reason why you cannot play the game, is that Intel GMA 3100 is not capable of rendering the vertex shaders that has to do with lighting.
  • In order to play the game, you need to buy at least greater than the PCIE video card mentioned. It's that simple.
  • For example buy an ATI HD 4670 512MB or Nvidia 9500GT 512MB consider the memory.
  • Click the link for PCIE Video card installation procedure. Installation

Hopefully you will enjoy COD WAW third person shooter game.
Hopefully this information helps.
Thank you for using FixYa.

I cont play 3d games graphic card is there in acer aspire 4720z

* The system configuration of Acer Aspire 4720Z PC Notebook is :

160 GB or larger hard disk drive / 5-in-1 card reader / 512 MB or 1GB DDR2 533 MHz DIMM module / Intel Pentium dual-core mobile processor technology T2310 (1 MB L2 cache, 1.46, 533 MHz FSB), Mobile Intel GL960 Express Graphics Chipset.

* Your system have "Mobile Intel GL960 Express Graphics Chipset" graphics accelerator card embedded in the motherboard. Like most of the laptops/notebooks, there is no room for upgrading the graphics card in the motherboard!

* But you can upgrade the RAM upto 2 GB using two DDR2 DIMM memory modules.

* If you want to play 3D games with better performance, switch to Windows XP SP2 and upgrade the RAM!

* If you want to upgrade the memory (RAM), you can check this site : http://www.laptoppartsexpert.com/c-60093-acer-aspire-4720-series-as4720z.html

Hi! Im asking can the following to prrograms run on the Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHZ. The first being Chris Swayers Locomotion and Slysoft's Game Jackel. I have read that they need Pentuim III eqvilents, but...

Probably not. Although the processor is marginally sufficient, you do not have enough video ram to run video games satisfactorily. You could always try installing one to see how it runs for you.

I want to upgrade my hard drive.

If you have 50% or more disk space free then you may not need a larger hard disk at this time. If you have 512Mb of RAM, you can get better performance with 1Gb or better still 2Gb of RAM if your Acer can support more than 1Gb of RAM.

I just wanna kno if my GTA4 is gonna work smooth in full grafics with this card..

Well without knowing the card, i can tell you this.
I have a 8800gt 512mb, 4gb's ram and a 3ghz c2d e6600 and i get an average 42fps using the in game benchmark. It depends really what resolution you want to play at. I play at 1440 x 900. You would need at least a nvidia 8600gts or Ati equivalant card to play the game. Also a core 2 duo is definately needed to play this game smoothly- better yet if you have a core 2 quad. If you are using a laptop then I could almost certainly guess that it wont work. If you have a pc using intel graphics then it wont work either.

Need more video and memory.

Very few laptops allow you to change the video, it is integrated (built in) to the motherboard. All computers also have a maximum limit to the memory capacity based on the number of slots and the type and size of memory modules supported by the CPU.

The Acer Aspire 3624WXCi was a budget system with a Celeron 1.6GHz processor. The Celeron series is just not that good at video tasks, such as your flight simulator demands. The integrated video is an Intel Media Graphics Accelerator 900 with 128MB ram, not bad but not optimum for your applications.

The Acer Aspire 3620 series uses DDR2 memory and has two slots. Each memory slot can hold a maximum of 1GB, so the system is limited to 2GB of ram. If you are at this limit, it is true that you can not add more but must move onwards and upwards to a newer more powerful system.

Video memory upgrade for an Acer Aspire 5100.

Sorry, but if it has intergrated video as you say then video card is NOT upgradable, simply because it does not have a card (It is intergrated into motherboard). That unit can take up to 4GB of ram 2GBX2 DDR2 PC25300 200pin SODIMM $56.00@ crucial.com. It is able to share an dditional 256mb of memory from system for a total of 512mb memory on video. With a little research u should also be able to upgrade the cpu.
Hope this helps good luck,
Dave
