FURNACE WILL NOT CUT OFF WITH THERMO PULL BRAKER THEN REINSERT BRAKER FURNICE WILL STAY OFF UNTIL THE THERMO IS RESET SAME THING HAPPENS AGAIN .WHAT PART IS BAD

If you have a programmable thermostat do the batteries need replacing? Test and re-insert. While there check for any loose wires on it, or at the furnace circuit board. Also make sure none of the wires are touching and metal parts and getting chaffed or shorted. If they are the shot will keep the unit from shutting off and/or cause short cycling.

My Rheem oil furnace is coupled with Rhuud heat pump. Oil furnace runs on emergency mode only and heat pump doesn't work at all!! Now the oil furnace will not even fire up even on emode.

Try and jump it out by taking the wire hooked to R and W terminals on your thermostat and connecting them. It could be you have a bad thermostat.

RHEEM OIL FURNACE MODEL ROBD 067 LBEA BLOWER

You will likely need to install an isolation relay in the W circuit from the thermostat. Some thermostats rob a small current through the W circuit to power the thermostat. This small current can be enough to start the fan circuit timer. You can test this by disconnecting W at the furnace and allowing the timer to shut down. If the fan shuts off with the W disconnected you can install a simple relay.

The relay coil will be connected to Common on one side and the W from the thermostat to the other. Then you will run a wire from R on the furnace to the relay and from the N.O. Contacts to the W terminal on the furnace. This will kill that signal that is starting the timer and the W can steal it's power through the coil back to common.

Rheem RHQA Heater:Blower works but no heat.

Is there a setting on the thermostat for Auto or Fan? If so, make sure it is in the Auto setting. You will have a contactor that turns on the elements and a relay for the fan. Follow the wiring diagram to see which relay energizes the fan then unplug it to see if the fan stops.

1970's Rheem electric furnace

no the older rheems had a sequencer for the heat that turned on the blower at the same time that the heat strios are energized. so the first thing that you need to do is figure out the sequencer that is keeping the fan running and get it replaced.

I have a ruud oil forced air furnace, but the model # says it is a Rheem ROBC-130. My problem is that the blower motor runs all the time, the furnace will fire and run for about a minute then shut off it...

this is more than a fan control relay . it is a black relay that will appear to have several wires connected to it but those wires connect to the base ,it unplugs , if it is set up for ac it might have 2 relays one toward the front one toward the rear replace the front one first ,,, if on good replace one @ rear should fix if not let me know
