Cant do anything the padlock sign is on and I dont know how to remove it so I can upload my pics to pc thanks averil, greece

It sounds like you have put the photo's into a protected state.
According to Pentax guides, you may have inadvertantly set it to protect all photo's. To release this you need to:

Set the mode dial to >
Press the key/padlock sign button twice
Select Unprotect using the 4 way control pad
Press ok.

To unprotect a single photo

Set the mode dial to > and select the individual photo
Press the key padlock sign button once
Select Unprotect using the 4 way control pad
Press ok.
