you can find your product key somewhere inside the box, this is a standart procedure against piracy.

if you bought the lappie new the product serial number should already have been activated. if you installed office yourself from a product that you bought then you need to enter the product key inside the box in order to use the product

Sorry, no free maps. I know I've tried. You either live with the old map or buy the latest version.
I bought the life time maps updates and I'm glad I did.
I've updated my maps at least 6 times.
New maps are about $70.
Life time maps are about $99 (when I bought mine)
BUT FIRST make SURE you have the latest software in YOUR computer and in YOUR Garmin before you load any maps.

After installing WebUpdater once from the Garmin website, perform all future software updates from your computer. Simply connect your compatible Garmin device to your computer, then run WebUpdater from your computer's "Start Menu" by selecting "Start", "Programs", "Garmin", and finally "WebUpdater"
REMEMBER: It takes hours to do a complete a map update.
Unless you bought the Lifetime maps you may have to pay for current maps.

When you bought the office you might have also gotten the key on the cd box. use that key . The key ont he computer is the key of the vista and not the microsoft office.

You should be able to install your old map from the DVD/CD that originally came with your Navman - you don't need a Product Key for this, even if it prompts you for one.

It appears that the commercially available 2009 map for the S-Series does *not* cover the S30 3D, just the non-3D versions, although that's not at all obvious from what's on Navman's web-site, so you have my sympathies if you bought it expecting it to work...

Try Start Settings System GPS and tap ON before starting the satnav program. Not all programs automatically switch on the GPS. On hitting ON yellow light top left starts flashing. Now start your satnav program..

the license key? if this is what i is askng then you will find it underneath well it should be? have you rebuilt it operating system? if so you will also need to actvate it also on-line. now you will be able to do this if you have the drivers for the network card.

You will need to use Mapsource to transfer the maps to your GPSr unit. This should install when you install the Topo Britain program.

You will then choose which map segments you want to transfer, and the program will do the rest.
