Re sinc it.Open the front cover on your Wii and push the red button there, then open the batteries cover on your Wii fit and push the red button there.If this not help Open thre front cover on your Wii and push and hold the red button for 20 seconds.This will clear all sync devices.Now try again to sinc Wii fit.In this case you need to sinc your WII Remote/s again too.If and this not help may your Wii fit need service.

unplug the wii console, open the small flap on the front of the console and hold for 15 seconds. then push the red button on the remote, it is under the battery cover, just press and release it, the press the one on the console again. the lights should blink then the blue light under the single dot should light up and work. You need to sync the balance board with the console. Instructions are in the manual. Sync button for board is in battery compartment and sync button for console is in panel under reset button.
Took a few tries for me, be carefule not to hold sync button on console down for longer than 10 seconds because it will deregister all wii remotes.

The WII Fit board will only stay on, if there is a game loaded and waiting to access the board. For instance, the WII Fit game will prompt you to turn on the the WII Fit board. If you turn it on before prompted, the WII Fit board will turn itself off.
However, assuming you do not have a hard ware problem and you have already put in fresh batteries. you may have to resync the WII Fit board and the WII. Try pressing the red button on the WII Fit Board (near batteries) and the WII itself (near the SD card slot).
