I need to update my bbm on my pearl

I need to update my bbm but when I go to the webpage on my phone to do it through there it says I have to change my Browser ID to Blackberry and I can't. The only two options I have are Internet Brower and t-zones. How can I change the Browser ID to Balckberry?

To change the home page of the browser complete the following steps:
1) Open the browser.
2) Display the menu, and click Options > Browser Configuration
3) Click the browser to be configured.
4) Change the Start Page option to Home Page.
5) Change the Home Page Address to the web site that should be loaded when the browser is opened.
Note: If the Start Page option is not present, you will be unable to change the home page of that particular browser due to an IT Policy on the BlackBerry smartphone. For more information contact your administrator.

If you can make calls and SMS , but not able to log onto the web then it's simple, what you need is to request for internet settings for your model from your SIM card provider. It will be able to access web and all other related apps as you mentioned. Good luck.

Why does my bbm say associating bbm with your blackberry id
I rang up today and I fixed my problem, I was told to switch off my phone then take out my battery and sim card. When my phone was back on my bbm was working. I hope this works, as I was dissapointed that mine would not work either. Goodluck !! :)

After an update of BBM, I tried to reboot my phone, but never turned on again, just the front led go on red for a seconds.

basically u need to go onto the settings advanced settings then thr router and click the top bit and register it then you have to call say orange if your on orange and tell them that youve regerstird it and they should fix it from there if it doesnt work btw after you do the regerstir bit take out the battery for 10 secs then put back in

Your problem is software related, install the software you recieved with your phone, then do a software update via the software, takes about 2/ hours,

* Do not remove your simcard while updating
* Make sure it is fully charged
* Do not recieve or make any calls while updating, (in other words use a simcard of the same service provider which is new and has not been used by any one,

I keep getting errors on my Blackberry Curve 8330 that say: java error lack of memory... how can i fix this?
This is usually happened when you install high ram memory application such as BBM 5.
The solution for this problem is by uninstalling your BBM 5. Maybe your BBM 5 has a bug in Java Application. That’s why when you check using diagnostic test in option menu find this warning: UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION: JAVA.LANG.ARRAY INDEX OUT OF BOUNDS EXCEPTION.
After uninstalling BBM 5 you can check now is there any problem again. If yes, the last choice is by reinstalling your Blackberry OS.

Can i get cricket service on blackberry pearl?
Sure, a couple of things:
First- you can use BlackBerrys on Cricket in SOME markets. You will NOT be able to use a BlackBerry in an AWS market where Cricket uses the 1900mhz spectrum- simply because the BlackBerry doesn't have that band.

Using GPS disable all sounds alerts on my phone
You need to go to this webpage: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/devices/blackberrypearl8200.jsp
and click on "update your device software on line." You will need your data cable that came with the phone, and a PC with internet connection. install the software onto your PC and follow the directions from there. You could go to your service provider and have them do the updates, but this application is very user friendly. If This does not work, please let me know.
