Are you sure the number 33009 is correct?
Most Wenger watches have 5-digit numbers starting with 7.

If your watch is a "quartz" type and you have had it for some time (a year +?), then it seems likely that the battery has expired.

If it is still within the warranty period (usually a year), then it would be unusual for the battery to have died. Contact your local service agent to discuss it if this is the case.

Batteries are best replaced by an authorised dealer, it will cost more but this will ensure that that any water resistance is retained. Replacing the battery yourself can be more difficult that it appears so you are advised to go to a service agent.

Yes, it has a Swiss Quartz movement, so a battery is what makes your watch work. Need a new battery? Take it an authorized dealer or other business that has the right tool to open the case. It's not worth ruining an expensive watch just to save a couple of dollars to change the battery.

mcdevito75 here, There can be many, many reasons why a watch stops ticking, Have you wound the watch?? is the watch a Quartz?? when did you have it cleaned and oiled last?? how old is the watch??. You can try this, Reset the time on your watch, at times, pulling out the stem and moveing the hands will get a watch to start ticking again, primarily in older watches. Rolex is very fine watch if you maintain it properly. Is it more accurate for keeping time than a quartz watch? No, even specs tell you that. Hope that helps you.

As you pull the mainstem out, there will be a position, a 'notch' if you will, whereby as the hour and minute hands are rotated the date will change. Rotate ONLY clockwise, and when the desired date appears, be sure to turn an additional 360 degree turn on the hands if you are setting the date in the afternoon. Otherwise, the date will lag by 12 hours.
