Wenger model 097.0699 has a 3rd hand that relates to a series of numbers 1-24 on a inner circle what is this for?

dual time. You can set the inner hand with 24 hr markings for other time zone. So regular hands for your local time and inner hand for other country or time zone.

I have a wenger 79082

If its working when not wearing the watch, this its bit rare that battery is faulty. But yes it can be problem of weak battery or the battery is proper but not fitted properly. Its getting loose. As when you wear the watch on you hand the hand moves causing the battery to move in.So try one thing.Remove the battery from the watch then clean both the socket where battery is inserted and also clean the battery.Clean it with dry cloth. In the watch clean the battery socket with ear-bud or cotton piece. Then re-insert the battery and recheck. But if the problem is same then try with new replacement battery again. If the problem is same then its the problem of internal mechanism of watch. Some dust collected in between the tiny parts causing it to stop and not letting it to function properly. The watch needs a proper servicing for its internal parts.
Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.
