Acer aspire 9300 notebook black screen while in use

I was playing a game on my acer aspire 9300 when the screen went totally black. I waited a few minutes, but it never came back on. I took out the battery and put it back in but nothing happened. I am still getting the green power light and the green lock and a green light at the front of the computer. The computer is 2 years old.

If there is power beside you,why not connect you laptop to the family power,it will be good to your acer aspire 9300 battery life .Pay attention to your acer aspire 9300 laptop have been 2 years old,i think it most properly some problem to your acer aspire 9300 battery.

    I have the same problem as this one, my 9300 screen went black while playing game. but i don't think the problem is related to battery and power problem, because i tried by changing them both. if any one knows about this problem please give me some help!

I have been fixing computers that has long beeps and short ones. It is usually attributed to memory problem connection. Open the memory compartment at the back of the PC then detach the memory card. Clean with cloth softly enough not to destroy the circuit board or a pencil eraser to clean-up dust that caused the connection blockade. Reconnect after cleaning.

Recent hard ware or software change might have cause this. issue
try using the F8 key while computer starts and try to log on to safe mode and do a system resotre or you can choose the option last known good configuration

Laoptop: remove the battary & the power plug
Desk top: remove the power plug

Hold the power button for 60 seconds

Plug your PC on and reboot

Acer 9300 bios upgrade failed
Hi!
I have the same problem, and my problem was that I have installed 4GB ram and that ram modules wasn't accepted with the new bios. So I installed the old modules and it all worked again, downgraded the bios to one version older and installed my 4GB ram modules and it all worked.

Hope that's your problem too.

Acer Aspire 9300-3716 Hardware trouble after downgrading from Vista to XP.
You can download the drivers directly from Acer.

Just choose "drivers and downloads"
Then "notebook"
Then "Aspire 9300"

On the right window, you will see available drivers. Once you highlight each one, you will see what operating system it is for in the "download details" window.
