You will need to replace the rubber surrounds on you sub and the grill it will not be easy if youre doing it for the first time, you should take it to a store where they do speaker repairs and get them to replace the rubber surrounds and the grill you can replace yourself.

The drum got loose because the one of the top drum springs got unhooked. The spring holder on the plastic drum cover is broken. It was noticed in time and turned off. So it seems that nothing else is...

will the plastic ring in the second ring move to the other ring . the danger is if you put the spring in the second ring the drum may not be line up straight when you look from the top (the motor may be further back) causing the motor and back to rub on the back plate when loaded might be better to drill new hole ?

Broken sub tank switch in 80 series toyota landcruiser

Replace it. Most switches are mounted to plastic snap clips than can be removed with a simple Flathead screwdriver.A $5 plastic pry tool set is the best, but a butter knife or two works wonders sometimes.

Broke the flimsy support plastic ring - Need to order new one

i would do a tack together job on it,,
get some thick fuse wire and tiy it round inside the grill holes on the out side edge tiy each one together at about every inch apart around the grill that will hold the two grill's tight, then if you still have the broken plastic bits glue them back on using supper glue its cheeper that trying to get part that you may never find?

I have a 2001 Vw Beetle. The front bumper grille

Your best bet is to call & speak directly to a VW parts dept & ask them. U can order whatever parts u need online & probably save $ but call & find out what parts u really need. If its needs a certain paint color only the dealer will be able to order the original parts or u may have to have it painted to your want. Good Luck

Headlight

the same basically applies... if it a headlight assembly it's usually two parts left and right... do you mean the grill by chance ?

the reason i say the original solution applies is that you can pretty much ask at a service shop or wreckers and they will tell you exactly what the part is.

Over heating

Well sometimes its the small things that count and on my grand am it took several mechanics to figure out the overheating problem. Under the bumper and between the grill/radiator are rubber flaps that hang down (to keep dirt from flying up from the road). Sometimes the plastic tabs don't hold them on or they rip from deteriating and hang down in front of your radiator. There was a small tiny piece of it hanging in front of my radiator causing it to overheat very badly. Took like 5 mechanics to notice this. No joke but i have replaced the seals and all but in the end it turned out being this problem. Very odd. You might wanna check into it. Look for anything that might be covering up the air circulation in front of the radiator and look very good because several people havnt noticed it. Wish i would have knew this before i started replacing gaskets and stuff.
