Hi Fred Tromp, you have two ways to connect the Technics SL PD7 CD player to the Technics SA-DX750
The first is through a fiber optic cable, from the Digital Optical output of the SL-PD7, to Optical Input 1 or Optical Input 2
The other alternative is to use a 2 RCA to 2 RCA cable and connect them between the L and R outputs of the SL-PD7 to the CD L and R inputs on the SA-DX750
I hope you can interconnect the equipment

You just connect it in the auxilliary input then switch your reciever to auxilliary so you can the sound of your ipod. First buy a wire connector from ipod to reciever.
Hope it may helps;

SOURCE: on switching my technics sa-dx750 it says switching off overload
The question is what is causing the overload? The power supply or the output devices on the heat sink?
If you have accidently shorted a speaker wire, then the answer will be output devices, otherwise it could be anything in the power section. You may find a burnt or damged device with either of the causes.
SOURCE: would like to see the manual on the technics
