Tv was on working fine switched it off then 4 hours later tried to turn it on and nothing happened why is this
I went to turn on my TV Friday night and it would not turn on. There usually is a red light that is on when the TV is off and that light turns green when the TV is on. That light is not red, green, or anything. It simply isn't on. The TV will not respond with either the remote or just using the buttons on the front of the TV. I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, changing outlets, and leaving it unplugged for 12 hours or more and it still will not work. What is wrong? Help me, please!!!

Hi I have an RCA E13202WT 13 in 97 model this tv slowly developed power problems. After about a year at times would not turn on but finally would not power on at all. The tv was stored in the garage for years.I pulled it out to trash it and decided to plug it in and hit power and it came on. took it in the house and now it woint come on again. I had the same problem and took it apart. Before the repair there was no "click" when I pushed the button, a clue to the problem. The on-off button on the front pushes a weakly made angle piece of plastic inside which had broken. The plastic piece in turn is supposed to push an internal switch which is offset to one side.
I used epoxy (Araldite) to repair the broken plastic angle piece, but it still looks weak to me so I switch the tv off at the wall and leave the on-off button alone (though it does work now).
Opening the case requires some knowledge and care, and can be dangerous. It may void the warranty so be careful or give it to a qualified repair person.

These DLP tvs sometime u unplug suddenly and replug it back wright away,tv will go into protective mode and will not work wright away.Tries tv unplug,replug it back about an hour later,now the tv will reset itself back to the factory setting.The tv should work now.

I have two RCA HD52W59 TV's. I have had one for 3 years and one 4 years. The one I have had for 4 years is giving me the problem. Last week the tv turned off while watching it. It wouldnt come right back on. 10 minutes later we tried and it worked fine. the other night the kids were watching and it turned off and smelled like something burning. I tried turning it right back on and got no power at all. I tried to turn it on two days later and it made a buzzing noise and the green light went out. Never did get a picture, no powering up on the screen. Any ideas? Don't want to spend alot of money. Really loved the TV hope it isnt junk now. Better yet I hope the same thing doesnt happen to the other one I have.
take your tv to technician who can check your power supply, if your power is coming on and off, than a problem is not as big. firstly let him check a ht of a supply constantly, your supply is cutting.

I have the same problem and have also tried various ways to solve the problem.
The problem is with the same brand Goodmans but a different model. It is a Goodmans TVD2150F.
Can anyone help?
