My troy -bilt Bronco 13yx78ks011 will not crank. I don't hear anything at all when turning the key. I had this problem and replaced the solenoid... The tractor started I mowed a couple laps then stopped to air up a low tire. Went to start back up and back to nothing.

On this model the brake must be ON and PTO OFF for engine to crank.

Turning ignition switch to start position connects battery to the ignition switch "S" pole, then goes through the brake switch then through the PTO switch to the starter solenoid.

The solenoid checked out fine. Also tested the brake safety switch and pto safety switch. Both work fine. Although I had checked the 30amp fuse and determined the fuse was ok, I found that fuse block was bad - so no current though the circuit. By the way, the location and mounting position for the solenoid is a horrible spot to work with. Just one of the many irritating issues I have with this mower.

SOURCE: My troy-bilt bronco cut off while mowing, turn the key nothing, had to jump it to get it going to start with. Replaced the battery, still nothing

Your problem is either your solenoid or ignition switch

How to move deck forward on Troy Bilt Bronco Riding mower.

Check (compare) the left and right rear deck lift links. Likely one has become detached or otherwise is loose.

See Cutting Deck Removal in Service section of your owners manual.

How can I raise the mower deck on my Troy-Bilt Bronco 13YX78KS011? On the highest setting (5)it mows very short. After mowing only once on setting (3) the pulley has ground a groove on the adjustment

I hope you have a warranty.. I did have a mower that I had to removes some shims from between the engine and the frame to keep the belt from being misaligned. but of course that has nothing to do with the deck height.

I have an early-2000s Troy Bilt Bronco, 42 inch deck, 18hp Briggs Inotek engine, hydrostatic drive. It broke or threw a drive belt (not for the mower deck, but a transmission belt). How to you go about...

While mowing the yard, the mower went dead. I tried to recrank it and it won't crank. The gas pedal goes straight to the floor and doesn't work to crank the mower. I do not know anything about mowers and don't know where the problem could be. Can someone help?

I have a riding lawnmower. Troy-Bilt Bronco. It

check the battery i.e. load test it they dont last long, most of 2 seasons, then if this is o.k. clean all terminals as any corrosion will cause this also and make sure all connections are tight,it doesn't hurt even if theres no corrosion to loosen and re-tighten all connections
