I have a casio g-shock not work the Altitude Measurement
I have a casio g-shock riseman but the Altitude Measurement doen't work properly. in the same location i have take -10 and 150! Can i fix that? thanks a lot
Re: i have a casio g-shock not work the Altitude...
The riseman can be reset but also needs to be calibrated. Your instruction manual will walk you through calibrating your altimeter. If you have misplaced your manual you can download a manual from Casio's website.

PS means the watch is in power save mode if there is an indicator under the PS on your watch. this means the watch will go into a sleep mode when it is left in the dark for extended periods. change this setting by holding the top left button until a city code starts flashing, then press the bottom left button until "PSON" is flashing , you can switch between "PSON" and "PSOF" in this way by pressing the bottom right button. i, and casio recommend leaving the watch in the powersave mode though to help extend battery life. I got all this info from my G Shock manual.
Here is the link to the user manual for this watch if you need it;
http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/k2100/manual.pdf
page 12 gives you all the contact details for lacrosse.
I couldnt find the info online to be sure, but some of these watches do have a separate pressure sensor for altitude and barometric pressure, and sometimes the path to one could get blocked or it could become faulty.
I would contact la crosse and find a dealer to get the watch serviced, you could probably do it yourself but you need to get replacement seals from them anyway (these are important).
ask them to check if the sensor is clogged, it happens sometimes.
Hope this helps :)
