Hi Anonymous, if you can use System A + Speaker System B
What you have to respect is that each speaker must be 12 ohms or more, so that your equipment can work safely
Hola Anonimo, si puede utilizar Sistema A + Sistema B de parlantes
Lo que tiene que respetar es que cada parlante debe ser de 12 ohms o mas, para que su equipo pueda trabajar en forma segura
On that model you cannot listen to channels A and B at the same time . If you do want to hook up both make sure you series wire them ....hook the positive "+" of speaker "A" to the amp "+", then connect the neg "-" of "A" to the "+" of speaker " B " and then the "-" of "B" to the "-" of the amp . This is because the amp only supports 6 to 16 ohm loads . Please search series vs parallel speaker wiring on Google and look at the image diagrams if you have any confusion about it

SOURCE: my onkyo tx ds747 is saying protect even if i dont
Hello
maybe you have defective power transistor output and this is shorted, or the problem is in the power section like shorted diode shorted capacitors or open circuit may cause this, and the STK IC if shorted you got protect warning..

SOURCE: I have an Onkyo TX-DS747 & everytime I turn
What it sounds like you are describing is the protection relay turning on then imediately turning off for the time period mentioned. That would indicate a possible short in the circuitry. Probably a capacitor that is intermittant or even a transistor about ready to fail. This is probably not something you can look for if you are not an electronic tech. Find a reputable shop and get it fixed before it quits and does more damage. Let me know how you make out.

The problem could only be in the a/b switch, you may need to install a new switch.
