Microwave humming Our kitchenaid microwave began humming when I turn it on. I am afraid to use it. What could be the problem and what should I do to fix it? Is it worth fixing? Thank you!

    What is the full model number from the tag in or on the unit?... Is it actually heating when you don't want it to? ... Has it ever shown error code F2 or other code in the display? ... NOTE: FixYa's Web site is currently not

Hi! humming are cause of many things, either you have a defective magnetron, leaky capacitor, or the hv transformer. but most likely the magnetron is the culprit.
