I had this problem and got the solution form i Robot customer service:
1. Put the Scooba on a solid surface
2. Press on the back of the tank on the IRobot logo
3. At the same time push down on the front switch

Good luck, it works for me.

My bissell quicksteamer releases water but wont suction

There could be a number of problems, one that the collection tank is not aligned properly. 2. Removable nozzle installed improperly. 3.Removable nozzle full of debris. 4 Red lint screen under collection tank clogged.
5.The collection tank is full. The answer to the first one is: Check tank alignment and secure with side latches. The answer to the second one is Unplug unit. Align two "hooks" into bottom first, then snap into place on top. The answer for third one is:Unplug unit. Remove nozzle and rinse under running water. The solution for 4. is:Remove debris from lint screen. And the solution for 5. is Empty tank

How do I empty the tank instructions do not say

Looks like you have a bagless vacuum. The other kind have a tank. The tank can usually be removed by pressing a lever or switch somewhere on the top area of the tank.
When you get the tank off, it will come apart easily. Try to remove the top of the tank. Then you can dump it out into the trash. Watch how you open and removed the tank so you can put it back together again.

Hopr this helps.

No suction on my Pro heat steamer

You may want to check to see if the removable nozzle is correctly placed into its place. This is the plastic part where the water is sucked up through by the carpet cleaner. The nozzle notches must fit into the groove on the cleaner correctly and the metal bar need to snap back on top of the removable nozzle, Also sometimes if you have hair trapped in the nozzle or the bristle, it will affect the suction power of getting up the dirty water. The dirty water tank need to snap in place by making sure the top of the gray snaps on each side is over the top groove of the dirty tank on each side and the the gray snaps are pushed down and pushed into the tank to until it is snapped in place.
Super Simple answer could be: The Dirty water tank could have bubbles in it causing it not to **** too.

My bissell does not have any suction power. It sprays the formula but will not vacuum it up.

First check the motor duct gasket. The motor duct gasket is visible once the tank is removed. It is located underneath the handle on the top of the base of the machine. It has a black rubber coating around it. If there is no suction there please let us know. If your machine does have suction at the duct, continue to check the following:

- Ensure the Ready Tools Dial is set to the appropriate setting (Floor Cleaning or Hose Attachments).
- Remove the tank from the machine and ensure the tank lid is attached properly. The front window must first hook onto the lip of the bottom of the tank and then drape over the tank. Latch the bottom tank to the top tank lid. THIS LID CANNOT BE ATTACHED PROPERLY IF THE TANK IS NOT REMOVED FROM THE MACHINE.
- Make sure the Water Tank is not full on the outside of the bladder. If it is, empty the tank.
- Ensure the hose is firmly attached to the back of the machine. If not, re-insert as necessary by twisting into place.
- The machine must be in an upright, locked position and set to the Hose Attachment setting. If the handle is slightly tilted back while using, it will create a small gap at the suction inlet (where handle meets gasket, above the Bottom Tank) which will cause little or no suction.
- Check the red Tank Lint Screen for debris. If the Lint Screen is dirty, the unit will have poor suction. Clean the Lint Screen if necessary.
- If the float flap door in the tank lid is activating prematurely when you turn the machine on, this flap door should be replaced. This tank may need to be emptied.
- Check the Tank Lid and Tank for damage.

I have never used a shampooer before when I use it it says to empty out dirty water. I don't have any left. My tank is empty. Am I doing something wrong.

Suggest that you do the following.
Remove the TOP ("Clean water") tank. Fill it 1/2 full of water. Put the top on the clean water tank and place it back on the machine.

Release the machine handle and remove the cover of the "dirty" water tank. Inspect the back of the tank to be sure that the vacuum adapter in located in the rear of the dirty water tank. If not-that is your problem. If yes, restore the top to the dirty water tank.

Power the machine on.
On a kitchen floor, power the machine on. Pull the trigger and hold it for about 30 seconds. You should see water gathering around the brushes. If not, that is a problem.

With water around the brushes, release and lower the handle and and move the machine over the water. It should vacuum the water into the dirty water tank.
Is all of that happening?

Top water bottle want stay in

The black base that the bottle sits in is broke. You can use hot glue to replace the bottle. I would suggest buying a new tank from hoover because the style of tank you have has a known design flaw. They have redesigned the tank to be stronger. You could trying calling the Hoover company and complaining. I know that has worked in the past.
