Panasonic sent a repairman out with the correct part after telling them about the seven blinks. The unit was out of warranty. They rock. Call 800-211-7262 or 800-524-1448 1

Sorry to hear that. You could fix it with Best Buy or the warranty service repairman recommended by Panasonic.com I have a client that had used one of the panasonic repairman to fix the same problem that you have about a year ago,the TV is good ever seen. Hi to all, My 42" Panasonic plasma have the same problem. It turned itself off and now red light flashes 7 times, than after short pause 7 times again. And so on. Any ideas what is wrong??
