Is the base supposed to ring as well as the handsets? My base doesn't ring
On the base is a button next to the GE logo that says "Do Not Disturb". Pushing that button will enable and disable that feature
I unplugged the power and phone line for a few seconds and for good measure, re-registered the handsets. Probably was the unplugging that did the trick but who knows. Just happy my ring is back!

Yes I did set them up, seems like I have to buy a voip adaptor but I don't know if it works.
Have you set up the handsets? You must set them up, by following the directions included. You need to set the ringer tone, ringer volume etc. Mine work fine once I set them up.

Base never rang, but handsets worked fine for about 2 months. Now they have stopped ringing and the answering machine has also stopped functioning.
I've had the phones for about 4 months and had them setup. Now they won't ring.
Had the same problem (suddenly occurred today) after about 4 months of use. If I see the incoming call as indicated on the phone's LCD panel, I can pick up and get the call. However, it's just not ring!
I have never owned a phone that stopped working as much as this phone does. It will ring for one day, then stop. Never will I buy A GE product again!
